Candlelight Concert’s “Halloween Concert”

Happy Hygge Halloween

This Halloween candlelight concert was truly special encompassing both the cozy autumnal vibes and the spooky Halloween thrills. The program was filled with an assortment of goosebump-creating music, with songs ranging from T.V. and film themes to classical pieces that could have inspired our generation’s classics. The musicians invited the audience to participate in the performance by queuing us to do the “Addams Family” snaps and the random shouts of “Ghostbusters” when the time called. What a blast!

Each piece performed live really showed off how well written these classics are. Tunes like “This is Halloween” really are made up of intricate minor note melodies. They are stunning and deserve to be appreciated not only for their catchiness but, their complexities. Hearing these pieces performed live allowed the melodies to feel creepy without giving me the heebie-jeebies.

Candlelight concerts are truly wonderful experiences and give us a chance to support local artists and to build community amongst ourselves in a hygge environment. I hope to one day see you all in the audience along with me.
