Olympia Little Theatre’s “84 Charing Cross Road”

I feel so lucky that I had the chance to enjoy this performance with my mom last Sunday!

My sister introduced us to the movie, and we loved it! Seeing this story performed live created an additional charm. The casting was perfect for the story, and everyone brought something special to their performances.

If you know nothing about this story, then good — it will bless you even more so when you go see it on the stage!

Since this show is still running until the 24th, I don’t want to accidentally reveal any spoilers, but I will say this: “84 Charing Cross Road” is a play that displays some of the best parts of ordinary life and about being human. It’s historical, but not out of touch…meaning the story feels equally relevant and important for today. It’s a story about community and kindred spirits, and we all need those in our lives.
