Tacoma Little Theatre’s “The Mousetrap”

I finally saw the world’s longest running play — and WOW I can see why audiences have been LOVING IT since 1952. It’s been performed over 29 THOUSAND times around the world!
The Tacoma Little Theatre did Christie proud in their production. Set design, acting, and ambiance were at their usual TLC standard (which is of high quality). I appreciate the way that these actors looked deep into their characters and let their performances embody them. At first, I wondered if the actors were overacting, but as the play went on, I realized they were acting their characters in the exact right amount.
If you haven’t seen this infamous play before, I can’t recommend it enough and I DEFINITELY recommend showing love and support to the @tacomalittletheatre by attending this run of the show.
Advice: pay attention to all the things the whole time, observe all the social dynamics and behaviors, and listen to your gut! I solved the mystery half way through, but then second guessed myself to the point where I cant claim I got the murderer correct at the end. I gasped, and I hope you will too because a group gasp is so satisfying! Remember: “keep the secret of whodunit locked in your heart”
